The sqaure coffee table features a polished steel frame with a filled travertine marble top, which sits perfectly elevated to showcase its impeccable quality. The travertine slab is crosscut to empahsize its natural veining and subtle color variations. The attention to detail and craftsmanship can also be seen by the sleek, seamless edges. The expertly fabricated, moderinst steel frame is polished to a high gloss, which is perfectly juxtaposed to the natural, organic feel of the travertine. Circa 1977. This piece is a showstopper and can fit in well with a variety of different style interiors.
PACE COLLECTION (1960 - 2001): Pace Collection Furniture is renowned for its impeccable craftsmanship, timeless designs, and a perfect blend of elegance and modernity. The Pace Collection was a high-end contemporary furniture company, founded by Irving and Leon Rosen in New York City. Their showroom opened on East 62nd Street in Manhattan, NY to offer its fine furniture and services to the interior design trade, and advertised in numerous architectural and interior design magazines. The Pace Collection line of desks, tables and cabinets was distinguished by the unique Rosen style employing rich, exotic wood veneers and natural stones, and having high-gloss finishes with polished stainless steel trim.

CONDITION: As this is a vintage item, wear is commensurate with age and use. Sourced from the original owner. Very minor areas of subtle scuffing to polished steel base. One 2.5" corner of the travertine tabletop insert has been professionally repaired and is not noticeable.
