A STORIED Art & Home, we work hard to source and curate pieces for our clients to fall in love with. We hope that their stories and unique histories will live on in their new homes. 

 



CONDITION OF ITEMS
 

All of our products are vintage, unless otherwise noted. Signs of wear commensurate with an item's age and use are to be expected, even on items described as in excellent condition. No vintage piece is perfect, but an item's wear -- what we so lovingly refer to as "patina" -- over time, imbues it with a character and charm that cannot be replicated. If you have any questions or concerns about an item in our inventory or its condition, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re are always happy to share additional photos, videos, measurements, etc., to assist you in any pre-purchase decision-making.

We are not accountable for factors beyond our control, or for any damage that occurs outside of our care, that may result in the diminished condition or life expectancy of our products. We do not offer warranties on any vintage or refinished/reupholstered items.



RETURNS

All sales are final. If you have any questions about an item or its condition, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to share additional photos and answer any questions you may have. As a kind reminder, we do not offer any warranty on vintage and refinished/reupholstered products.

 

Listed prices, whether online or in our showroom, do not include shipping, packaging or delivery, unless noted otherwise. In the rare event that a return is granted (if the item is grossly misrepresented), the shipping and delivery fee is non-refundable. It is the buyer's responsibility to ship the item back to us in its original condition, before funds will be dispersed back to the buyer's original payment method.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

At STORIED Art & Home, each item is handled, shipped, and delivered with respect and care. Local (throughout Southern Florida), Domestic (throughout greater Florida and the surrounding areas) and nationwide shipping (within the contiguous United States) and delivery is offered through trusted third-party delivery providers. White Glove Delivery service should be expected with large items, such as furniture, lighting and art.

 

Before placing your order, please contact us at hello@storiedartandhome.com for a shipping and delivery quote. Shipping and delivery will be listed on a separate line on your invoice sheet. Payment for all items, including shipping and delivery, must be paid for in full before items can ship.

Completing a purchase with STORIED ART & Home means you acknowledge that the responsibility of your item is under care of the third-party delivery provider once it is picked up and leaves our showroom or storage facility. 

 

In the rare event that a return is granted (if the item is grossly misrepresented), the shipping and delivery fee is non-refundable. It is the buyer's responsibility to ship the item back to us in its original condition, before funds will be dispersed back to the buyer's original payment method. In addition, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the original purchase price. 
 



FED EX AND UPS DELIVERY

When possible, usually for smaller items, pieces can be delivered through UPS or FedEx. Eligible items will be shipped within 7 days of payment. Product insurance up to $100 is included. Any additional insurance and/or signature confirmation is available upon request. STORIED Art & Home is not responsible for any FedEx or UPS shipping delays, as that is out of our control. If you need a product delivered by a specific date, we are more than happy to arrange for expedited delivery.

 

Before placing your order, please contact us at hello@storiedartandhome.com for a shipping and delivery quote. Shipping and delivery will be listed on a separate line on your invoice sheet. Payment for all items, including shipping and delivery, must be paid for in full before items are shipped. 

It is possible that items may be returned back to us due to lack of signature upon arrival or incorrect delivery address. In such cases, we will have to re-charge a shipping fee in order to re-ship.

STORIED Art & Home is not responsible for any deliveries stolen or lost in the mail through FedEx or UPS. That includes replacement of items and insurance deductibles involved in insurance claims. In such cases, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a claim with the shipping provider, however we are happy to assist you with these matters if they should arise. 

 



SCHEDULING YOUR OWN DELIVERY

If you’d like, you can coordinate your own shipping directly with the delivery service of your choice. This requires that you make all arrangements for pick-up and packaging during our normal business hours or by appointment. Please contact us at hello@storiedartandhome.com if you wish to use your own preferred shipping service.

 

Any shipping carriers you arrange take full responsibility for your product’s condition at the point of purchase. Again, your item is under care of the third-party delivery provider once it is picked up and leaves our showroom or storage facility.

Deliveries need to be scheduled within 7 business days of sale. Items not picked up within that timeframe, or without arrangement of additional services or time, will incur a $50/day storage fee (per item), which will be billed upon pickup. Any pieces left for over 30 calendar days will again become the property of STORIED Art & Home. No credits or refunds will be issued.

 



LOCAL PICKUPS

Purchased products are available for pickup from either our showroom or our storage facility within 7 business days of sale. Items not picked up within that timeframe, or without arrangement of additional services or time, will incur a $50/day storage fee (per item), which will be billed upon pickup. Any pieces left for over 30 calendar days will again become the property of STORIED Art & Home. No credits or refunds will be issued. Responsibility for an item’s condition is yours once it is picked up and leaves our showroom or storage facility

DAMAGED GOODS

Sometimes it happens. We encourage all customers to thoroughly inspect all items as soon as they are delivered and before the delivery service providers leave. If a product arrives damaged, please contact us right away and we will immediately begin the claims process. Taking photos of the damage and shipping material will help expedite the process, and we encourage you to keep the original shipping packaging. We will then file a claim with our third-party delivery provider. As a reminder, we are not responsible to provide refunds for any damages, theft, or loss that occurs through third-party providers. Third-party receivers take full responsibility for the condition of your product upon arrival, excluding any defects documented directly by the carrier.

 



ADDITIONAL TERMS


This is a gentle reminder that STORIED ART & Home is not responsible for any loss, theft, damages, and other issues that may arise after the product has left our possession and/or that may occur in the shipping or delivery process. We are not responsible for the refund, replacement, and/or restoration of any items as such, either. This includes damages that may occur when our staff is assisting third-party delivery providers and/or UPS and FedEx services with load in or pick up. We, of course, will guide you in arranging your preferred shipping but the third-party delivery providers hold full responsibility for your item once it leaves our doors. Completing a purchase means that you, the client, are responsible for any insurance deductibles and insurance claims. Third-party receivers take full responsibility for the condition of your product upon arrival, excluding any defects documented directly by the carrier.
